THANKFUL DIY

It is DIY time! I found this DIY of pinterest, and I fell in love!

Also, how about this is the first pinterest DIY that actually
turned out super cute!

SUPPLIES







 I got this board from Wal-Mart for $15




 I bought a pack of colored cardstock, and found a feather template 
on google. You can find the one I found here
Cutting these out took the longest, so make time for them!


 I spray painted the bottom of all the feathers gold


 I also spray painted my letter stickers gold. 
While that was drying, I did a thin layer of white chalk paint
on my board. I wanted to make it look more rustic, but it would
also look super good with a thick layer.


 I then laid out my feathers backwards in the order that I wanted
them to be in. I put a small dot on the back, and attached them 
with a string. I also bent them to give them a 
more 3D effect.


I hot glued the left over string to the back of the board.


I then placed out THANKFUL where I wanted it and did 
two layers of modpodge over top to ensure that they 
would stay.

Long time no talk friends. It has honestly been like 6 months since my last post on here. A lot happened this year. And I mean a lot. So lets break it down as short as possible or else this is going to be a novel. ' At the beginning of the year, we took Weston to get tested for allergies, specifically for milk and eggs. Which both came back positive. His milk allergy is very severe, so we have epi pens for him! So far we have discovered that he can't have plain eggs. But if they are baked into something, he can have them. Joseph graduated from USUE with a bachelors is English! Which I am so proud of him because he literally hated school! But he did it! Weston was also diagnosed with Asthma. We had 3 hospital trips in one month, two of which we were emitted to the ICU. This really could be a different post all by itself, but long story short when Weston gets sick, it causes his lungs to basically collapse. Every time we went to the hospital, he came back positiv

Well, I'M 20! I think that is so crazy! Like, I have been alive for 2 decades! But I was roaming Pinterest the other day as always and I saw picture that said 20 things I learned in 20 years! I didn't click on it because I didn't want any one else ideas in my post, but I thought that it was such a fun blog post idea! I have learned lots of life lessons, but it is so hard to think of them now that I think about it!  1: FAMILY IS EVERYTHING Really as a teenager I thought that my friends were everything. I would go out every weekend, and would never be home except for in the mornings. Long story short, I'm weird. And there are probably a lot of things you don't know or wouldn't assume about me. So here are 50 random facts about me! Everyone can enjoy this almost 4 year old picture. Also side note, I think I am going to go back to my natural hair color. Or maybe even darker. I'm so sick of my blonde. 1. I HATE corn tortillas. 2. I pronounce crayons as "crans". 3. I also pronounce avocados as "al-vocados". 4. I am 5'10. 5. I hate exercising, but if I had to choose a way to work out, it would be lap swimming. 6.
