LIFE UPDATE

Image
Long time no talk friends. It has honestly been like 6 months since my last post on here. A lot happened this year. And I mean a lot. So lets break it down as short as possible or else this is going to be a novel. ' At the beginning of the year, we took Weston to get tested for allergies, specifically for milk and eggs. Which both came back positive. His milk allergy is very severe, so we have epi pens for him! So far we have discovered that he can't have plain eggs. But if they are baked into something, he can have them. Joseph graduated from USUE with a bachelors is English! Which I am so proud of him because he literally hated school! But he did it! Weston was also diagnosed with Asthma. We had 3 hospital trips in one month, two of which we were emitted to the ICU. This really could be a different post all by itself, but long story short when Weston gets sick, it causes his lungs to basically collapse. Every time we went to the hospital, he came back positiv

Welcome to a new series that I have been dying to start! I hate cooking and I hate baking! I swear that every time I have ever tried to cook/bake, it always takes so long to make, it doesn't taste that great, and I'm lazy and give up! But all these recipes that I am going to share in this series are all easy and taste soooo good! And if I can make these, I know you can too! I found this recipe on YouTube awhile ago, and it looked so good! You can find the original recipe here!  So, being the lazy chef I am, decided that I would give it a shot. AND YOU GUYS! This is for sure one of my favorite things I have ever made in my entire life! This is honestly the key to my heart! It is great for big parties, or just yourself. I make it for both! I don't make it exactly as they do, but it is close enough. INGREDIENTS 1 Red Pepper 1 Orange Pepper 1 Yellow Pepper 1 Red Onion (You can also half it if you don't like a lot of onion) 1 Can of Corn 1 or 2

BABY MUST HAVES

Hello lovely people of the internet! Back when Weston was a newborn, I posted a blog post of all my favorite newborn products that I loved using and more importantly what were helpful in those first couple of months home. You can read that post  here!  Now that Weston is almost 7 months old, which is still so hard to believe, I wanted to share products that we have been loving! These are all products that we have used since he was around 2-3 months old and up. I will make sure to link the exact products that we use!  These are products that I would recommend to anyone! PUMA SOCKS Okay. Listen carefully. This is probably my #1 recommendation for all you moms out there! I received some Puma socks at my baby shower, and they are THE BEST SOCKS IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. They have not once slipped off his feet, nor has he been able to kick them off. I am sure it is just the style of sock really, and the brand doesn't matter as much. But I will never buy any other socks. I still have

Photos by Kenzi Kim Photography She's my girl! Check her out! You guys! How has it already been 4 months! It has seriously gone by so fast, I can't believe it! Weston is getting so big, and it makes me so sad! But watching him learn and grow has been so much fun! We are almost a week past his 4 month mark! We had our 4 month checkup today! He got his second round of shots and he did so good! He cried, but we didn't have any tears! He is 25.5 inches tall (68th percentile) and weighs 12.8 pounds (5th percentile)! So he is very tall and VERY skinny! We are in a size 2 diaper already! He still is practically bald except for his little baby mullet in the back! But we are pretty sure he is going to be blonde and we are like 95% sure that his eyes will stay blue!  THINGS WESTON LIKES He LOVE, LOVE, LOVES reading books. I started reading with him at around 1 month, and it is honestly his favorite thing! I am sure it is just the pictures that he really

DITL OF A NEW MOM

Image
Hello! I haven't done any postpartum updates or anything like that since having Weston, but I thought it would be so fun to share with everyone what a typical day in the life of a new mom is like! Weston is almost 3 months old which is crazy! He sure does keep me busy and I am loving every second of it! 1:28 AM This is what time our morning started today! We do co-sleep, which there is lots of controversy about, but it has worked so well for us and I am so glad we have done it! I am getting a full nights sleep, and I love it! 3:39 AM I woke up  Westons next feeding. He doesn't eat a ton, so he does wake up more frequently during the night, but honestly I don't mind because I feed him laying down. Which, I guess he doesn't really wake up. He just starts moving around so I feed him before he actually opens his eyes and cries. He did feed again, but I forgot to see what time it was! I think it was 6 something 8:49 AM Good morning! Or so I thought! We
